I will always be grateful for water

This is an image of the Mississippi River as it leaves the lake of its origin. After the droughts in 2012 and 2017, I vowed to always be grateful for the rain which falls in my area. I am even grateful for the torrential atmospheric rivers. We need the forests, fields, and plains to thrive. They participate in the hydrological cycles. Restoring soil carbon, wetlands, and forests help to replenish those cycles. We need them to make sure that water is available for future generations.

I will always be grateful for water, which nourishes all life.
