Chickadees hold a special place in my heart…always alert..always out in any condition…working with the other birds in the area to communicate what is going on. These feathered friends are one of the most friendly and easiest birds to build a relationship with as you learn bird language. So, I chose them as a subject as I started to learn oil painting. This is one of the first oil paintings I finished as I started learning the techniques and I’m pretty happy with it (though I would like to re-take the photo of this painting).
